The 28th annual DEF Spelling Bee is being held on Thursday, March 14th, at the Dedham Middle School. DEF raises money through events like the Spelling Bee and distributes approximately $20,000 in grants each year to the Dedham Public Schools to support programming for students. This includes supplemental funding for arts and enrichment, STEM curriculum, field trips, guest speaker series, classroom activity tools, and cultural awareness programs.
The Spelling Bee is an important fundraising event that enables DEF to provide innovative enrichment programs in all 7 of Dedham’s public schools. If you can donate to help us reach our fundraising goals for this event, you may do so via PayPal, Venmo, or check.
